March 26th

Don't forget to put your clocks forward tonight so you aren't late for the show tomorrow

Thompson House 25th February 2017

Thank you again to all the competitors at our show on Saturday. We had a fantastic turnout despite Storm Doris doing her worst in the days leading up to show day.

Thompson House 19th November

Another brilliant show yesterday, thank you to all the competitors who turned out in the awful weather to support us; we had some really big classes so thank you for your patience.

Spring Show - 1st Points Show

The committee would like to thank everyone who supported us at Sunday's show held at Thompson House Equestrian; we had a fantastic turn out despite the torrential downpours. Our members have started to rack in the points and these can be found on The ARC Equestrian Riding Club page.

The photographer on the day was Hocus Focus, all the pictures can now be found on their Facebook page.

The next show is on 29/05/16 again at Thompson House Equestrian, we have new qualifiers for that and as soon as they have been added to the schedule this will be emailed out and a copy put on the events page.

New Addition

Last Saturday 09.04.16, Caroline, Lesley and Sarah took a road trip to Middlesbrough to pick up a Mule Gelding who we have named Rolo as a companion for Bonita the Mule that Caroline recued from Spain along with her mum.

Rolo has settled in well and has made a few friends. We would like to thank Barlow Trailers for hiring us a box, without them we wouldn't have been able to collect him.

Easter Weekend Clear Round / Dog Show

Despite the inclement weather we had a good turn for the Clear Round competition on Sunday 27th March and we have decided to hold these on a 2 weekly basis, the next on being on 10.04.16.

The Dog Show held on Monday 28th March was a huge success with lots of adults and children entering classes with their faithful companions and the day was enjoyed by all.

Thank you to everyone who supported us.

Cricklands Qualifier and Easter Show

On Saturday 19th March The Arc Equestrian held a Showjumping Qualifier for Cricklands at Thompson House Equestrian, we had a good turn out and some very good feedback.

Sunday 20th saw the last of the Winter Shows also at Thompson House. We had a very good turn out for this with lots of new competitors who we hope to see again soon when our points show start on 24th April.

The official photographer for both of these events was MB Photography and all the pictures from the show can be viewed on the Facebook page, see link below:

Update

Been a busy few weeks, Kieri has been brought in from the field and is now starting work. She has taken to the bit very well, once she has been broken she has a forever home lined up. Autumn has had a visit from a family who would like to re-home her once she has been backed. On Sunday we held our show at Warren Farm, we had a fantastic turn out and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you to everyone who supported us at the show and to A2Z Event Management Limited for all your help.

Updates

Hopefully from now on you will get a weekly update on all the rescues, who has been re-homed and who is ready for work including pictures. We have been extremely busy at the rescue centre but now I know how to update the site I will try and post something on a regular basis.
